Please join us in supporting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) by participating in our virtual Run for the Cure 5k. Thanks to your support, our efforts will help fund the therapies and treatments that help save the lives of those affected by blood cancer.
We are a group of motivated highschoolers called Team Goal Diggers. In middle school we started a district wide organization at our school called Easton Hero Squad. During the 2018-2019 school year, we raised $43,000 for LLS. Together, we joined the Leukemia Lymphoma Society's 2021 "Students of the Year" campaign to honor our advisor, teacher, and best friend, Mrs. Jena Brodhead, after witnessing her battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
Together, we can make strides to change the face of blood cancer! Run, walk, or jog. Put those sneakers on and get moving for LLS!
